Feeling (Sinful) Blue

I honestly don't have a reason but I am just feeling blue. Dark blue even. So I picked the most suiting nail polish - Rain Storm by Sinful Colors. At least it would give me a good reason for the blues... But as I applied this polish, I felt it was too heavy and I had to lighten it up some. So I ended up with this mani:

So as you already know my base was Rain Storm by Sinful Colors, a dusty dark blue creme. Rain Storm is almost a one coater. If your nails are short - you won't need more then one coat. Its formula is a little bit on the thick side, but it is still very easy to apply. I think a couple of thinner drops will only do it some good though.

Then I sponged my nails with Sinful Colors - Ocean Side and China Glaze - Bahamian Escape to create the gradient and lighter tips.

I was so happy with the final result that I didn't feel blue anymore. I felt like party! So I took Color Club Blue Heaven, from the first part of the Halo Hues collection, and DRK-B plate and I stamped me some fun swirls all over my nails.

So no more blues. Just awesome blue mani with happy holographic rainbows. What do you think?
