The Nail Junkie Fairy Tale collection: Mermaid

Do you believe in fairy-tales? I do. I really love all those magical creatures and I still dream of the day I will actually meet one of those. Until then I try not to step on flowers or other little creatures that might turn out to be a fairy's home or ride or... whatever. So when Aleta from The Nail Junkie told me that she's working on her Fairy Tale Collection, I couldn't get any more excited!!! And I am so very happy to show you today the first polish from this collection: Mermaid.
The Nail Junkie Fairy Tale Collection - Mermaid
Like all her polishes, Aleta uses a cute little icon on her labels instead of words, and the icons in this collection are extra sweet. Just look at this sexy but shy red-head mermaid. Ariel looks like a little girl next to her. And the polish is so beautiful. It is made of a mix of tiny glitter in water-green color and iridescent rainbows in clear base. It is actually meant to be a topper but I loved it so much that I decided to use it on it's own. Besides, it is so well suspended in the base, that the end result is so smooth on the nail, just waiting to be stamped on. All pictures show two coats. The one above is without top coat, the other pictures have one coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl fast dry top. Application, like any of The Nail Junkie's polishes was easy and flawless. Because this polish is suppose to be a topper, the two coats didn't leave it 100% opaque, But just look how dense this glitter is!

And like I said - this polish was so smooth on the nails all waiting to be stamped on. So I stamped on it! I used Kleancolor Metallic Sapphire and Cheeky Jumbo Nail Plate B. On my accent nail I applied a bubbles sticker by Joby Nail Art.

And don't forget to come again tomorrow to see more of this collection! And I don't want to hint anything, but I know that usually, when releasing a new collection, The Nail Junkie is running a giveaway on her blog! ;-)

I love the ring finger! It looks like a treasure under water!

I do believe in fairy tales aswell. Or most accurately I wish I could have a dragon or see a fairy. I do wish I was a mermaid...
